Laura Stanfield Prichard currently teaches private lessons in voice, piano, conducting, and woodwinds for Keys for Kids Music Studio (Lexington) and Bunker Hill Community College (Charleston and Chelsea campuses), where she is in a founding Music Department faculty member and the Founding Conductor of the College Choir. She sings in the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, the New World Chorale, and the choruses of the BSO. By Zoom (and formerly, at live concerts) she is the principal pre-concert speaker for Boston Baroque, Berkshire Choral International, and the Masterworks Chorale, and a regular lecturer for the San Francisco Opera and San Francisco and Chicago Symphonies. She writes award-winning editorial prefaces for music scores published by Musikproduktion-Höflich in Munich, Germany and has presented recent scholarly papers for the American Musicological Society, the Music Library Association, and the 2011 Diaghilev P.S. Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia. She is the former Director of Fine Arts (K-12) for the Arlington Public Schools and led the music program at First Parish, Arlington from 2003-2013.
